Brad Weisenstein is a writer, editor and lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fans, who discovered as a child that he needed glasses when he could no longer read the Busch Stadium scoreboard. He spent more than 30 years working for his hometown newspaper and was formerly managing editor for the Journal of the American Optometric Association, back in the days when optometrists were still lobbying for the right to prescribe eyedrops.
