Nicola Bridges is an award-winning writer covering health and wellness, travel, celebrity and women’s lifestyle. While writing is her passion, she has deep experience as an editorial director and digital media executive.
Nicola has been the editor-in-chief of Working Mother magazine, Prevention.com, HealthGuru and RealAge, and held roles at the BBC, NBCU/iVillage, Hearst and Rodale. Her writing has appeared in many national publications, including Parade and People magazines, U.S. News & World Report, the New York Post, L.A. Times, Boston Globe, and San Diego Union-Tribune.
Nicola founded and ran Capability Ranch Activities & Events Center for Special Needs Youth & Young Adults for six years on her ranch in Southern California, and is currently studying for a Master of Science in Aging & Gerontology.
A prime candidate for contact lenses (“no way I’m putting something on my eyeballs!”), she prefers big square or round frames, and is a stickler for wearing sight-protecting sunglasses.
