Dr. Jessilin Quint is a nationally recognized optometrist, educator and practice leader with expertise in ocular disease, dry eye management and advanced patient care. Originally from Texas, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Baylor University before completing both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science (MS) in Biology at West Texas A&M University. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry.
Following graduation, Dr. Quint completed a post-doctoral residency in Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, with a specialized emphasis in ocular emergency and trauma care. Her clinical interests include advanced ocular surface disease, dry eye management, specialty contact lenses, glaucoma and collaborative surgical co-management.
Dr. Quint is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry. She is a former President of the Maine Optometric Association and currently serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Indiana University School of Optometry. She is also a member of the Intrepid Eye Society and remains actively involved in leadership and education within the profession.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Quint is a frequent lecturer, author and industry contributor. She is the co-owner of Smart Eye Care and Smart Dry Eye Center in Maine, where she focuses on delivering comprehensive, technology-driven eye care with an emphasis on personalized patient experiences.
