About: Gary Heiting, OD, has more than 30 years of experience as an eye care professional, optical industry executive, health care editor and eyewear industry consultant. Dr. Heiting has held clinical positions at Park Nicollet Medical Center (Minneapolis, MN) and Ophthalmic Surgeons & Physicians, Ltd. (Tempe, AZ). He also served as Director of Education and Product Development (North America) for the ophthalmic optics division of Pentax Corporation (Tokyo, Japan). Dr. Heiting received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry (Fullerton, CA) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Pre-Medicine) from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
