Shannon Belden, Writer

About: Shannon Belden is a writer, linguist and theater kid. She got her first pair of glasses when she was 6, after eye strain caused her to fall asleep in class. The glasses improved her vision, reducing her eye strain; sadly they did not fix her sleepiness.

Shannon has spent much of her adult life working with students pursuing health care careers. She loves her current job, where she gets to help students figure out the best ways to learn, deal with stress and manage their time. 

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her cats, plants, books and video games. And writing for All About Vision, of course.
