About: Corrie Pelc is a freelance writer for All About Vision. As the past communications manager for the California Optometric Association and director of content for OptometryWeb and OphthalmologyWeb, she thoroughly enjoys writing about anything eyeball-related.

A journalist for over 26 years, Corrie has written for Optometric Management, EyeCare Professional, INVISION, Exceptional Parent and Bay Area Parent magazines. She’s also a current freelance writer for Medical News Today, where she covers the latest research on various health topics.
