About: Meredith Marmurek has been writing for All About Vision since early 2022. She started wearing glasses after many months of teasing from her daughters about the size of the font on her phone.

Meredith has worked at the non-profit OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation since 2018. The content she creates teaches parents, school nurses, teachers and kids about why it’s important to be able to see clearly, and helps the foundation provide eye exams and glasses to people in need.

When she’s not writing, Meredith enjoys spending time with her family, reading and spoiling Teddy, her West Highland white terrier.
