Liz DeFranco is the author of The Retail Manager's Guide to Crime and Loss Prevention: Protecting Your Business From Theft, Fraud and Violence and an instructor in the opticianry program at Interboro Institute in New York City. She is also a regular contributor to eyecare trade periodicals, covering spectacle lenses and eyewear retailing.

Liz runs her own corporate communications firm and provides advertising and public relations services for a variety of companies.
