March 2016 Can everything in life be glamorous? If you ask mid-century modern design enthusiast Jonathan Adler, then the answer is yes! And one proof is this new women's style in his spring eyewear collection. We've chosen it as the March Frame of the Month.
JA310-UF has a vintage cat-eye shape, with round temple tips and a rich-looking Jonathan Adler logo plaque on each temple. The tortoise/purple color combination is Palm Springs-playful, but the frame also comes in black or burgundy.

Praise for Plaid
February 2016 This is the perfect frame for the winter blues: It's cheerful and very, very versatile.
"Cantara" is a new style in the Dolabany Eyewear collection, and it features a solid front with plaid pattern temples and interior. It comes in burgundy, black or navy.
What to wear with it? You can prep it up with a turtleneck or argyle sweater. Grunge it down with a tee and jeans. Or make it boho-bright by pattern-mixing with the coming spring's florals and stripes. View more images.
Gwen Stefani Debuts Eyewear Lines
January 2016 Two new frame and sunglass collections by Gwen Stefani have launched, and they are just as fashion-forward as you'd expect from this style icon.
Please click here for close-up photos of this and other styles in the L.A.M.B. and gx by Gwen Stefani collections.
The collections are called L.A.M.B. and gx by Gwen Stefani, which are Stefani's fashion accessory labels featuring shoes and handbags.
L.A.M.B. emphasizes black and white hues but also stripes, prints and color blocking. Pearl and metallic acetates are used extensively, and the look is street-style edgy.

The gx by Gwen Stefani collection is more geek chic, with pop color accents and small stud or plaque details. Stefani describes the line as "bold, colorful and more playful."
Both collections are in chunky acetate, and while they are feminine, they are not for wallflowers. We can't wait to try them on!
Celebrity Stylist Kate Young Launches Eyewear Collection
May 2015 Who knows what looks best on women? Celebrity stylist Kate Young certainly comes to mind, as she has worked with some of the most beautiful women on stage and screen, including Michelle Williams, Natalie Portman, Sienna Miller and Dakota Johnson.
Young's know-how is now being put to good use in frame and sunglass designs for women, in her new Kate Young for Tura collection.
The styles are modern retro, much like some of the looks she has created for her clients. The vintage details include strong cat-eye shapes, chunky structure, keyhole bridges, gold tones and jewelry accents. Colors are face-flattering, including black, rose, gray, crystal, bone, khaki and tortoise.
Shown here is K106, a classic Clubmaster style in black that's also available in gray or tortoise. Please click here for close-up photos of this and more styles.

Brendel Brings Animal Patterns to Women's Eyewear
February 2015 You're seeing them on scarves, sweaters, handbags, shoes, coats you name it. Animal patterns are everywhere, and fortunately you don't have to wear an actual animal skin to enjoy the high-fashion look of these textural designs.
Animal patterns are appearing on women's eyewear as well, on both plastic and metal frames. Shown here is style 924003 from the Brendel collection for women. It has an uplifted rectangular shape with a carved effect at the front edges, in a blond leopard print atop a black layer. The frame also comes in shiny black or brown leopard.
Other frames in the collection feature a bronze leopard pattern, a textured animal pattern that looks hand-painted and a multi-dimensional pressed animal pattern in ombre shades.
