Last month, AllAboutVision.com launched a new Cosmetic Eye Procedures section, featuring information on blepharoplasty surgery for droopy eyelids as well as enhancements such as Botox and Latisse. The section was created with the assistance of Editorial Advisory Board member Charles Slonim, MD, an educator and former private practitioner specializing in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.
AllAboutVision.com has also stepped up its efforts to keep eye care practitioners informed about new content their patients might be reading. For more than 10 years, the site has offered ECPs a monthly e-mail summary of recently published articles and news. Now the site's Facebook page offers practitioners the same information, and earlier this year AllAboutVision.com began providing practices with a news feed for their practice Facebook pages.
Launched in 2000, AllAboutVision.com is a one-stop, independent resource providing consumers with hundreds of pages of trustworthy, up-to-date information on vision correction and eye health. The site is a National Silver Sponsor of Optometry Giving Sight, and is certified by the Health on the Net Foundation.
