Founder Chris Knobbe, MD, Joins Editorial Board

La Jolla, Calif., May 8, 2008 — Access Media Group, publisher of AllAboutVision.com, will acquire EyeMDLink.com, a website providing consumer eye care education. Chris A. Knobbe, MD, founder and president of EyeMDLink.com, has joined AllAboutVision.com's Editorial Advisory Board and will be involved in article reviews and developing new content.

Founded in 2002, EyeMDLink.com provides consumers with extensive coverage of eye conditions and procedures. The site is privately funded and supported by its founder and president, Chris A. Knobbe, MD, a general ophthalmologist in private practice in Denison, Texas. Dr. Knobbe is also an assistant clinical professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
