Laura Johansen, Advertising Administrator, Marketing & PR Specialist

Laura Johansen manages the advertising placement and reporting system, as well as All About Vision's Eye Care Practitioner Directory. She performs consumer and practitioner marketing, as well as public relations efforts. She also writes announcements about new products, advancements and research in eye care.

Previously Laura worked at Century Publishing, where as communications coordinator and ad coordinator she formatted business guide information and oversaw advertising production. She has also worked in public relations and marketing at the Alzheimer's Association San Diego/Imperial Chapter and The Ardell Group/The Domino Group, as well as customer service at R.W. Smith & Company.

Laura obtained her BA in communications (emphasis in public relations) with a minor in marketing at San Diego State University, graduating magna cum laude. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and several other honor societies, as well as a Certified eMarketing Associate accredited by the eMarketing Association.
