Dr. Art Epstein is a contributing editor of Review of Optometry, executive editor of Review of Contact Lenses, and chief medical editor of Optometric Physician. He is a partner in North Shore Contact Lens & Vision Consultants, a practice specializing in contact lenses, keratoconus, refractive surgery complications, and diseases of the anterior segment. He also serves as the director of the Contact Lens Service at North Shore University Hospital, NYU School of Medicine.

Dr. Epstein is a member of the American Optometric Association and its Contact Lens & Cornea Section, as well as of the Optometric Editors Association, the Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists, The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, and the Contact Lens Society of America. He also is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
