Dr. Yankelove received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine where he graduated with honors in Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine and Neuroscience. His internship was at Union Memorial Hospital, an affiliate of John Hopkins School of Medicine. He has completed numerous additional training programs and certifications, both domestically and internationally. Dr. Yankelove is widely recognized as an expert in cataract and refractive surgery and is often asked to lecture. He offers his expertise and surgical skills as a volunteer in the Eye Care America program and participates in mission projects through SEE International.
