Prior to the procedure, he uses highly sophisticated wavefront technology to create a unique map of the patient's eye. More About Peter Zloty, MD
Peter Zloty, MD, obtained his medical degree at Albany Medical College. He completed his medical internship at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. Dr. Zloty then joined the U.S. Navy, where he reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander and earned a Sea Service Medal. Upon his return to Albany, Dr. Zloty completed a three-year residency and fellowship training, during which time he studied under Dr. Michael Belin. Over the course of his prolific career, Dr. Zloty has trained numerous other surgeons and lectured on refractive surgery topics worldwide. He is affiliated with a number of professional organizations.
