More about LASIK at Travers Lasik Vision Care
Travers Lasik Vision Care features three state of the art lasers: the Ziemer LDV Femtosecond Laser, Alcon's Wavelight IQ 400 and Bausch & Lomb's Zyoptix excimer lasers. Dr. Travers has assembled these three advanced lasers so she may offer the best treatment available today.
During the procedure, Dr. Travers immobilizes the eye and creates a small flap in the cornea using a sophisticated laser platform. She then gently lifts the flap and uses the excimer laser to reshape the cornea for improved vision. The flap is immediately laid back into place, where it will begin healing. The procedure takes only a few minutes, and allows patients to overcome nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.
What Do Patients Say About Dr. Travers?
"For many years I have struggled with poor vision. Days after surgery, I was able for the first time in 11 years to read the thermostat in my own home. Each day brings me new things to enjoy because now I can see!" C.R.
"Thank you very much for giving me 20/20 (and better) vision! I am truly glad that I got to meet you." L.T.
"I just wanted to say thank you for making it possible for me to finally get rid of my glasses. I see better than I ever have and it's all because of you." J.K.
"I have been dependent on my glasses since age 7. This was the best decision I have ever made. The first morning I woke up and could see the time on the clock without my glasses. I hope others don't wait as long as I did to make their dreams come true." T.S.
