More About the Physicians at TLC Laser Eye Centers
Randal J. Rabon, MD, FACS, is a highly-experienced, board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in refractive surgery. He has performed more than 6,000 LASIK procedures throughout his successful career and was one of the first eye surgeons in Tennessee to offer LASIK.
Dr. Rabon received his medical degree from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed his ophthalmic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Rabon is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Quillan College of Medicine and serves as a Regional Proctoring Surgeon and Regional Medical Director for TLC Laser Vision Centers. He has been honored with the VISX Star Award recognizing him as one of the top 5% of refractive surgeons nationwide.
Dr. Rabon is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Additionally, he is a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Eye Surgeons.
Judaun Alison, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in laser vision correction.
Dr. Alison attended the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University where she received her medical degree in 1989. Upon completion of her residency and cornea fellowship training at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Dr. Alison began private practice with East Tennessee Physicians and Associates. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, at the Quillen College of Medicine.
Dr. Alison is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and an Executive board member of the Quillen College of Medical Alumni Society.
