Dr. Arffa has chosen the VISX S4 CustomVue laser to provide a highly accurate customized treatment for each individual eye. Also available is Bladefree LASIK using the Intralase FS Laser. Robert Arffa, MD, received his medical degree at the University of Connecticut, School of Medicine and performed his residency in ophthalmology at the Indiana University, Department of Ophthalmology. He completed specialty fellowship training in cornea and external disease at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. He has performed important research regarding corneal health and has published numerous scientific articles and a book on this subject.
Dr. Arffa is an active member of the major ophthalmology associations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
