IntraLase is a blade-free method of creating the corneal flap, the first step of the LASIK procedure. The VISX Star S4 IR Excimer laser system is the focal point of the Advanced CustomVue system. This system creates a highly detailed map of the cornea and incorporates VISX Iris Registration, which correctly centers the laser, regardless of eye movements during treatment.
