About Shiley Eye LASIK Center

Dr. David Schanzlin directs the care of patients at the Shiley Eye Center. Each patient is meticulously evaluated and treated by the Shiley Eye staff members to ensure the best LASIK outcomes. LASIK is performed using custom wavefront technology, allowing each patient to be individually tested and then treated with a customized laser profile. The LASIK procedures are also performed with the all-laser technique called IntraLase. IntraLase uses a laser instead of a blade to create the "corneal flap," thus adding safety and precision for each patient.

In addition to LASIK, Shiley Eye Center also offers LASEK (another bladeless form of refractive surgery), PRK, AK, RK and Intacs (removable corneal inserts for keratoconus and myopia). A comprehensive screening process is used for all patients and the best refractive surgery procedure is recommended for each patient individually. This focus on patient care ensures the best outcome for your vision.
