More About Lexington Eye Associates, Inc.
Lexington Eye Associates, Inc., has been providing world class eye care services for Boston-area patients for more than 40 years. The practice utilizes the latest refractive technologies available, including the VISX S4 excimer laser.
The VISX S4 system incorporates WaveScan Technology and the 3-D Tracker with Iris Registration. WaveScan technology measures and identifies imperfections in a patient’s eye 25 times more accurately than traditional methods. The 3-D Active Tracker device follows and monitors the position of the eye 60 times per second during the LASIK procedure; this allows for continuous laser beam application, even while the eye adjusts position. To create the corneal flap, Dr. Rodman offers the IntraLase "All Laser LASIK" procedure that provides a level of safety and precision not possible with the traditional microkeratome blade.
Dr. Rodman and his staff at Lexington Eye Associates, Inc., also offer other eye care procedures, including photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), a form of refractive surgery that does not require a corneal flap. In addition, Dr. Rodman offers refractive lens implants for cataract surgery such as ReZoom, Crystalens and AcrySof ReSTOR.
Additionally, Lexington Eye Associates, Inc., provides a variety of oculoplastic procedures, including eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), brow lift and Botox injections.
