Ella G. Faktorovich, MD, and Barry S. Seibel, MD, are board-certified ophthalmologists who specialize in vision correction surgery. Both surgeons are widely respected by their peers, conduct important research in corneal, lens, and cataract surgery and teach other surgeons about advancements in laser and lens vision correction. These highly skilled LASIK, cataract, and lens specialists are among the most experienced refractive surgeons in the country and have performed tens of thousands of eye surgeries. Many patients, including those with vision intensive occupations such as fireman, policemen, lawyers and doctors have sought the gifted hands of these surgeons to correct their vision.

While the physicians and the team at Pacific Vision Institute are highly trained and use the most advanced technology and surgical techniques, they offer something else that is equally or more important — treatments customized to your specific vision needs. The choice to have laser eye surgery is important and very personal. At the Pacific Vision Institute, the team takes the time with each patient to learn his or her specific needs and to provide answers to any and all questions. More About Pacific Vision Institute

The lasers of the Pacific Vision Institute are fully FDA approved for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. The state-of-the-art center is equipped with the most advanced diagnostic and operating room equipment to help ensure the patients' safety and comfort. For LASIK surgery, a wavefront-guided custom LASIK system is used to provide a precise measure of the cornea shape and create an individualized laser beam to correct each eye. To create the corneal flap, the "All Laser LASIK" or "Blade Free LASIK" procedure is used called IntraLASE. The IntraLASE is the latest generation upgrade.

The PVI team includes a full-time laser engineer who insures precise functioning of all the equipment. This combination of advanced technology, team experts, and the surgeons' skill and experience provides for excellent visual results.
