More About Dr. Pomerance
Dr. Glenn Pomerance received his undergraduate degree from Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y., and his medical
degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. He completed his internship and
residency in ophthalmology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he was appointed Chief Resident. Before entering
private practice, he was the staff ophthalmologist for Martin Army Hospital in Fort Benning, Ga. He is an active member
of all the major medical and ophthalmology societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of
Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Pomerance enjoys teaching and is
a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the East Tennessee State University.
