Dr. Patel uses the Bausch & Lomb Technolas 217z 100hz Zyoptix excimer laser platform when performing refractive surgery. Ketan Patel, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree, graduating with cum laude honors, from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed a medical internship at Washington Hospital Center; an ophthalmology residency at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia; and a sub-specialty fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Patel is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
