The surgical team of OptiVision Laser Centers specializes in Custom LASIK surgery, an advanced form of LASIK that corrects even the tiniest refractive errors. During the procedure, they carefully map all of the cornea's flaws using sophisticated wavefront technology. Then, they use this unique "fingerprint of the eye" to calibrate the excimer laser. A small flap is made in the cornea and the excimer laser is used to correct the corneal flaws. Once complete, the flap is returned to its original position. Following surgery, most patients enjoy clearer vision without the need for eye glasses or contact lenses.
In addition to LASIK, the surgeons at OptiVision perform PRK, CK, AK and PanaSEE Sight Rejuvenation, an advanced procedure that utilizes state-of-the-art lenses to treat nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism. To treat nearsighted patients who are not good candidates for LASIK, the surgeons offer Visian ICLs, implantable collamer lenses.
