Dr. Bindi is the Medical Director of the Laser Eye Center of Silicon Valley and the Laser Eye Center of the East Bay. His practice offers the latest in custom LASIK, a treatment that tailors each LASIK procedure to the patient's vision correction needs. The subtle optical irregularities in the eye are measured and corrected to maximize the patient's vision. Craig S. Bindi, MD, graduated from Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose and obtained additional degrees from St. Mary's and Creighton University in the Midwest. He obtained his medical degree at the University of California Davis School of Medicine, after which he completed an additional year of post-graduate training at the University of Arizona School of Medicine and served a general surgery residency in Tucson. All together, Dr. Bindi underwent nine years of post-graduate medical training, during which time he studied a range of comprehensive eye care and vision correction procedures. He is affiliated with many professional organizations.

Gary M. Kawesch, MD, graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry. He attended medical school at the University of California at Los Angeles, School of Medicine, where he received high honors for academic excellence. He served his internship at the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, California, and his residency in ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Kawesch is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
