Cory M. Lessner, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses exclusively on refractive surgery. He is a highly skilled refractive surgeon who has performed more than 20,000 vision correction procedures. Dr. Lessner is recognized by his peers for his ability to successfully treat and manage complex cases. His skill as a LASIK surgeon has gained him selection as the official surgeon for all South Florida professional sports teams, including the Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, Florida Marlins, and Miami Heat. Dr. Cory Lessner received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta and his medical degree from Hahnemann University, School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in ophthalmology and a clinical fellowship in general ophthalmology at Tufts University New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Lessner is an active member in the major ophthalmology organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
