David A. Wallace, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in LASIK, PRK,
cataract care and other advanced methods of vision correction. He is a Fellow of the
American Academy of Ophthalmology and has performed more than 10,000 laser refractive procedures.
He is also the inventor of several instruments used by eye care professionals worldwide and has published
numerous scientific papers. He has been named one of "LA's Best Doctors" by Los Angeles Magazine
and has been quoted in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times and Business Week magazine.
Dr. Wallace is a firm believer in and advocate for public accountability of professionals, including doctors and surgeons.
"Medicine is at its core a service profession, not unlike the hotel and restaurant business, yet the consumer of medical care
has no tools to help guide medical care decisions like a Michelin hotel guide, Zagat's restaurant survey, or the statistical

care and provide the public with accurate statistics about safety, efficacy, stability and accuracy of laser vision care.

Dr. Wallace also is frequently asked to speak to and teach ophthalmic surgeons about new advances in LASIK and other types of refractive surgery.
Dr. Wallace received his medical school training at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.
He performed his internship at the University of California, Los Angeles and his residency in ophthalmology at the
University of Southern California Doheny Eye Foundation.
