The London Eye Centre's state-of-the-art-facility |
London Eye Centre offers some of the most advanced technology for vision correction. The No Touch™ procedure is performed with the VISX STAR S4-IR excimer laser system. This system allows the surgeons to offer highly accurate and predictable visual results. Unlike LASIK, the No Touch™ procedure uses only laser light the entire treatment is performed on the surface of the cornea. There is no flap created, and no manual cutting or use of a blade on the cornea. London Eye Centre has treated patients from more than 30 countries and nearly every U.S. state. Named five consecutive times as the Consumer Choice award winner for top laser eye correction centre in Vancouver, Canada, the London Eye Centre is considered by many to be one of the original, landmark facilities in the world to specialize exclusively in laser eye surgery.

IntraLase technology |
The surgeons of London Eye Centre also specialize in IntraLase sub-Bowman's keratomileusis (SBK), which allows them to obtain higher levels of precision, and consequently an enhanced safety record. During the IntraLase SBK procedure, the eye surgeons create a flap in the cornea using a special femtosecond laser, as opposed to microkeratome, a bladed instrument. By using the IntraLase technology, London Eye Centre's surgeons help patients achieve improved vision with shorter recovery periods than those who undergo traditional laser vision correction.
