More About LASIK Surgery in San Diego
Each patient is examined and evaluated carefully. Three excimer laser platforms are available for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism; the VISX Star S4, Bausch and Lomb Zyoptix, and Alcon LADARVision. Each of these systems provides highly accurate measurements of the corneal curvature and creates a customized laser treatment profile to correct each eye. These wavefront-guided systems utilize sophisticated eye-tracking technology to precisely track the eye while the laser changes the corneal shape. The availability of all three lasers allows the surgeon to choose the best option for your refractive surgery. In addition to LASIK, she and her medical team also offer PRK and LASEK.
