Each patient is examined and evaluated carefully. Three excimer laser platforms are available for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism: the VISX Star S4, Bausch and Lomb Zyoptix and Alcon LADARVision. He completed his first residency in internal medicine at Miriam Hospital/Brown University in Providence and his residency in ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland. Dr. Rom is a member of several societies, including the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the Cleveland Ophthalmological Society and the Ohio Medical Association.
