Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking

In addition to offering laser vision correction, LASIK MD clinics in Canada also offer a keratoconus treatment called corneal collagen cross-linking (CXL). This innovative technology is currently being reviewed by the FDA, but has been approved and accepted by surgeons in Europe and Canada as an effective method for slowing or halting the progression of keratoconus. At LASIK MD, you can combine CXL with an excimer laser treatment, which helps to provide a better overall quality of vision. US patients can contact one of our Canadian clinics to learn more about CXL.
