Dr. Bains has also co-authored several laser eye surgery textbooks and is a managing co-editor of The Atlas of Ophthalmology, a comprehensive volume on the principles and practice of ophthalmology.

Dr. Johnson has performed more than 20,000 LASIK procedures. He is a published author whose articles have appeared in several respected medical journals. Dr. Johnson is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also an active member of several highly regarded associations, including the Canadian Medical Association and the Ontario Medical Association.
