Professor Dan Z. Reinstein, MD, MA, FRCSC, is a world-renowned expert
in LASIK laser vision correction and refractive surgery. He has performed
more than 8,000 LASIK procedures and is one of a handful of physicians
in the UK who has been fellowship trained specifically in refractive
surgery. Professor Reinstein is also a board certified ophthalmologist
in the United States and Canada. He has pioneered many advances in laser

More About Professor Dan Reinstein
Professor Dan Z. Reinstein received his undergraduate degree from
Cambridge University and his postgraduate training in medicine at Cambridge
University School of Medicine. He conducted his internship in medicine
at the University College London School of Medicine, University of London.
His residency in ophthalmology was performed at the Mount Sinai Medical
Center, New York, and his fellowship training in refractive surgery, cornea,
and external diseases of the eye was completed at the University of British
Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. In addition to his position as the Medical
Director of the London Vision Clinic, he also holds appointments as an Assistant
Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell
University, New York, and as Professeur Associe' en Ophtalmologie at the Centre
Hospitalier National d'Ophthalmologie des Quinzes Vingts, Paris.
Professor Reinstein continues his research and is a coveted speaker.
He lectures at numerous scientific and clinical meetings worldwide where
other surgeons learn about his advances in laser vision correction. He
has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters. He holds five
patents on improved methods to measure the cornea in order to improve LASIK
