More About InView

George O. Waring, MD

Dr. George Waring answers each patient's questions.

InView is a state-of-the-art facility with the most advanced vision correction technology. Each patient is meticulously examined using the 4Sight Exam™, which has been developed through years of experience. This unique examination, only offered at InView, determines if you are a candidate for LASIK, or if another vision correction procedure is right for you. LASIK patients may receive InterWave™, CustomVue™, CustomCornea™, or one of our other technologies; each system offers detailed diagnostic vision measurements and individualized wavefront guided treatments. The InView surgeons determine which system will provide the best outcome for each patient.

In addition to LASIK, InView surgeons also offer PRK, RK, Epi-LASIK, and AK, for the correction of myopia and keratoconus, and phakic IOLs (intraocular lenses). CK Surgery (conductive keratoplasty) is available for the correction of farsightedness. The InView surgeons are also skilled cataract surgeons who implant the newest technology IOLs, including the Crystalens that simultaneously corrects for reading and distance vision. InView is one of the only five sites in the country participating in a clinical trial investigating AcuFocus treatment for presbyopia.

Although InView is on the cutting edge of technology for refractive surgery, the physicians are conservative in their approach to laser vision correction. Many patients are advised not to undergo surgery. This focus on patient care ensures the best results for each patient's vision.
