More About Vision for Life
Dr. Horn is the Medical Director at Vision for Life, his private practice. He uses only the most advanced technology for vision correction surgery. Unlike most practices, he has the choice of two different lasers for LASIK: the VISX STAR S4 or the Allegretto Wave excimer laser system. Both of these systems provide highly accurate measurements of corneal curvature and create an individualized laser profile to correct the eye. This choice allows Dr. Horn to select the surgical technology that best suits each patient's needs.
Dr. Horn is a highly skilled cataract surgeon and offers the advanced technology IOLs (intraocular lenses), ReSTOR, and ReZOOM that simultaneously correct for both distance and near vision for those over the age of 50. He offers lens implants for those too nearsighted for laser surgery, and is a clinical investigator for many of these new lens options. He uses the Aqualase surgical technique for lens removal whenever possible, to create the safest, most comfortable, and least invasive surgical option for each patient.
