Mark Hollingshead, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing exemplary eye care to vision correction patients in Boise and Nampa for more than 16 years. Dr. Hollingshead is one of the most experienced LASIK eye surgeons in Boise and the surrounding area. In all, he has successfully performed more than 12,000 vision correction procedures. Dr. Hollingshead offers the most advanced bladeless LASIK eye surgery treatment available. He performs the procedure using Bausch & Lomb's Zyoptix custom LASIK system, a leading-edge laser platform that allows him to provide patients with maximum safety and precision, greatly reducing the need for corrective eyewear postoperatively.
Prior to performing LASIK eye surgery, Dr. Hollingshead uses Zyoptix three-dimensional topography technology to obtain a unique map of the patient's refractive errors, which allows him to deliver customized and accurate vision correction treatment to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism.

More About Mark E. Hollingshead, MD
Mark E. Hollingshead, MD, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Hollingshead underwent additional training in refractive surgery and advanced cataract surgery techniques at The Eye Institute of Utah. He is affiliated with many professional organizations.
