More About LASIK Surgery at the 20⁄20 Institute

20⁄20 Institute uses some of the most advanced FDA-approved laser vision correction technologies for all LASIK procedures. To enhance the precision and safety of LASIK surgery, the center's surgeons begin each treatment by using a sophisticated wavefront technology. Like fingerprints, the curvature of the eyes is unique to each individual. Customizing the treatment for each guest is a cornerstone of the 20⁄20 Institute philosophy. 20⁄20 Institute also uses an advanced laser system for creating a 3-D profile of the eye, which further increases the accuracy of the laser vision correction procedure. Next, the center's surgeons create a corneal flap using a special laser. By using this advanced laser method, the surgeons at 20⁄20 Institute are able to reduce the risk of complications that comes with the conventional mechanical blade method. The "all-laser" LASIK approach greatly enhances the precision, safety and accuracy of the LASIK procedure, leading to more rewarding vision correction results.
