Robert Gladsden, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with many years' experience helping LASIK patients realize their dreams of clear vision without glasses. Dr. Robert Gladsden earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He then completed a prestigious internship at Cleveland's Mt. Sinai Hospital. Dr. Gladsden performed his surgical residency at the same hospital, earning the title of Chief Resident his final year. Having received so much by way of education, Dr. Gladsden is honored to give back by serving as an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Gladsden's excellent surgical record has helped him earn several awards, including "VISX Star Surgeon" recognition. He is also a member of many highly recognized professional associations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Maryland Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, and the Maryland State Medical Society (MedChi).
