More About Vision Correction with Florida Eye Specialists
For LASIK surgery, Drs. Chokshi and Hasan use the Bausch and Lomb Zyoptix laser system. Zyoptix is a custom wavefront-guided system that can measure up to 65 different corneal aberrations (the previous standard was three). Orbscan provides 3-D topographical maps of both the front and back of the cornea, making LASIK safer and more effective.
In addition to LASIK, PRK and LASEK laser vision correction, Drs. Chokshi and Hasan also offer correction for presbyopia. By implanting leading-edge IOLs (intraocular lenses), such as Crystalens or AcrySof ReSTOR, they are able to simultaneously correct patients' distance, intermediate and reading vision.
