More About Vision Correction at Lexum European Eye Clinic

The Lexum Eye Clinic is an internationally recognized ophthalmology training center equipped with the latest, most modern technology, including the MEL 80 Excimer Laser and the state-of-the-art femtosecond laser Visumax 500. The clinic offers a full range of patient services, including routine eye examinations, testing and high-quality vision correction treatments.

Prof. Filipec specializes in wavefront-guided LASIK, a leading-edge laser vision correction technique that uses three-dimensional eye measurements to allow for precise reshaping of the cornea. During the procedure, Prof. Filipec creates a small flap in the cornea and uses the laser to correct corneal flaws. The flap is then returned to its original position to act as a natural bandage for the eye. The LASIK surgeons at the Lexum European Eye Clinic also offer PRK and LASEK vision correction, as well as advanced cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses (IOLs).

What Do Patients Say About the Lexum Eye Clinic?

"I had always wanted to live without glasses and contact lenses. Through Luxi-Med I got to know about the Lexum Eye Clinic and their great medicinal and technical facilities. I was not disappointed; quite the contrary. The LASIK treatment only took 15 minutes for both eyes. Shortly afterwards I could see the beautiful city of Prague without any problem whatsoever. Thank you Lexum, your team of doctors and all of your workers for my new life without my visual aids." —Simone Nitsche, Velbert, Germany

"I had been waiting years for this moment so that I could live life without glasses and contact lenses. The Lexum Eye Clinic helped me in this with its LASIK method. I chose Lexum Eye Clinic because I had been convinced by the German firm Luxi-Med about its high technical and medical standards. My local ophthalmologist later told me at the check-up that the laser operation could not have been carried out better. Thank you very much Lexum Eye Clinic for the excellent work and the friendly German-speaking care. I can't recommend it more." —Bettina Buchholz, Neuenkirchen, Germany

"As the result of a sporting injury the retina in one of my eyes was stitched and scarred. I hadn't counted on not wearing glasses and contact lenses. Thanks to the laser treatment (LASIK), the Lexum Eye Clinic made it possible. It must be a really highly qualified team of doctors with good technical equipment that can successfully carry out such a difficult surgery." —Dirk Kleinschnitger, Velbert, Germany

"When one is a very active sportsman – diving, cycling, skiing and playing tennis – then one knows how important glasses are, and also how expensive. Contact lenses are an alternative. How wonderful it is to lead this sporting life without visual aids. The Lexum Eye Clinic in Prague helped me to this new sporting life. Two years ago I underwent the LASIK operation. I can only give a full recommendation for using this clinic with its medicinal and technical know-how. Even if I compare it with other clinics in Germany, then there is almost no substitute. The price/result ratio is in total agreement." —Wolfgang Schónenberg, Heiligenhaus, Germany
