More About Vision Correction at Eye Associates
Each patient is meticulously examined to determine the best option for refractive surgery. To perform LASIK, the CustomVue wavefront guided laser system from VISX is used. Each eye has a unique shape which can be thought of as a "fingerprint" for the eye. The CustomVue system provides a highly accurate measure of this eye fingerprint and then creates a customized laser profile to correct each eye. The combination of this advanced technology with the surgeons' extensive experience and training provides for optimal vision results. Eye Associates also provide treatment for cataracts using the most advanced "no needle" cataract surgery technique. New technology IOLs (intraocular lenses) are available that can simultaneously correct for reading and distance vision.
