More About LASIK Vision Correction With Dr. Pascucci
At his Bonita Springs LASIK practice, Dr. Pascucci uses the most advanced and dependable technology to provide patients with customized vision correction procedures. This includes the sophisticated Allegretto Wave laser platform with wavefront diagnostic technology. This platform is recognized as the fastest and most precise laser system available for vision correction in the United States. The Allegretto's PerfectPulse technology safely and accurately controls every laser pulse emitted during the LASIK procedure, from start to finish. Newer in design than the VISX, LADARVision and Technolas lasers, the Allegretto laser was engineered with wavefront optimization, to correct tiny refractive errors known as higher-order aberrations. The Allegretto laser platform represents a new generation of refractive technology referred to as "High Performance Vision Correction" that allows patients to achieve exceptional visual results under all lighting situations, day and night.
Before starting LASIK surgery, Dr. Pascucci uses wavefront diagnostic technology to map the eye's refractive errors, including any higher-order aberrations. He uses this data to calibrate the Allegretto excimer laser used to re-contour the curvature of the cornea during LASIK.
LASIK in Bonita Springs with Dr. Pascucci is not painful. Patients usually notice an improvement in vision in 24 to 48 hours after surgery. Often, Dr. Pascucci's patients no longer have to depend on prescription lenses or contact lenses to see clearly. In fact, more than 99 percent of patients achieve perfect 20/20 vision or better with LASIK surgery.
