Keith Liang, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and California State licensed. He is a leading Sacramento laser eye surgeon in LASIK, refractive surgery and cataract surgery. His specialty training started at the LSU Eye Center, one of the original FDA Clinical Trial sites, where he trained with Dr. Marguerite McDonald who performed the first laser vision correction procedure. More About Dr. Liang
A graduate of University of California at Los Angeles, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. He received his Medical Degree at University of Southern California. He then completed a surgical internship at University of Southern California Los Angeles County Medical Center. After internship, he completed a four-year ophthalmology residency program at Louisiana State University. He was elected to serve as the Chief Resident of LSU-Lions Eye Clinic during this time. He is an active member of the major ophthalmology organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Liang is active in lecturing and teaching other eye care professionals locally, nationally, and internationally.
