"Everyone in Dr. Coluccelli's office is very nice and makes you feel very comfortable. I couldn't see the big "E" on the chart and almost immediately after LASIK I could see the smallest line." Christy Green, Custom LASIK Patient
For LASIK surgery, Drs. Chokshi and Coluccelli use the Bausch and Lomb Zyoptix laser system. Zyoptix is a custom wavefront-guided system able to measure up to 65 different corneal aberrations in comparison to the previous standard of three. Dr. Coluccelli was the first surgeon in the area to utilize Orbscan technology. Orbscan provides 3-D topographical maps of both the front and back of the cornea, making LASIK safer and more effective.
In addition to LASIK, PRK and LASEK laser vision correction, Drs. Chokshi and Colucelli also offer correction for presbyopia. By implanting leading-edge IOLs (intraocular lenses), such as Crystalens or AcrySof ReSTOR, they are able to simultaneously correct patients' distance, intermediate and reading vision.
