best LASIK outcomes.

"Before laser vision correction, I had trouble seeing the ball. Thanks to Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute, my hitting and fielding are better than ever." | |
LASIK surgery is performed using the newest technology
excimer laser system, Alcon LADARVision CustomCornea. This system, which
incorporates the most advanced WaveFront technology, allows each patient
to be individually tested and treated with a customized laser profile.
The Institute also offers IntraLase, the all-laser LASIK procedure in
which the "corneal flap" is created by a laser instead of a blade. The use
of Custom WaveFront LASIK in combination with IntraLase provides extremely
safe and precise refractive surgery. In addition to LASIK, surgeons
at the Institute offer PRK and LASEK for refractive surgery. Although the
Cole Eye Institute team is on the cutting edge of technology, the surgeons
are conservative in the approach to laser vision correction. A comprehensive
screening process is used for all patients and only those candidates who
the surgeons expect to have excellent outcomes are recommended for surgery.
This focus on patient care ensures the best results for each patient's vision.
