Neil Chesen, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 19 years experience helping his patients with their corrective vision care. He has performed thousands of refractive surgery procedures and has treated many cataract, glaucoma and macular degeneration patients. Dr. Chesen is also board certified in internal medicine, making him one of only 40 physicians in the country with this double board certification.

Dr. Chesen is committed to helping his patients eliminate their dependency on glasses and contact lenses. In addition to offering LASIK, Dr. Chesen performs other refractive surgeries, including photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), NearVision conductive keratoplasty and Epi-LASIK.
Dr. Chesen's personalized approach helps him provide effective treatment in a safe, calming manner. Neil Chesen, MD, received his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Albert Einstein Medical College in Philadelphia and his Ophthalmology residency at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
