The Ophthalmology Consultants use the
Allegretto WaveLight refractive suite.

The Center for LASIK

The doctors at The Center for LASIK offer custom bladeless LASIK, an advanced procedure involving the use of the Allegretto WaveLight refractive suite. This amazing treatment allows the eye surgeons to provide safety and comfort while achieving outstanding outcomes for their patients.

The custom LASIK procedure begins with an advanced diagnostic assessment of the patient's refractive errors. The surgeons then utilize the WaveLight F5200 femtosecond laser to make a flap on the surface of the cornea. This flap is gently peeled back so that the surgeons can use the WaveLight Allegretto Eye-Q excimer laser to alter the shape of the cornea. Lastly, the corneal flap is placed in to its original location, serving as a bandage for the cornea. After LASIK, most patients have vastly improved vision and no longer need glasses or contact lenses.

The Center for LASIK also offers the following procedures:

  • Corneal transplant surgery
  • Micro-incision cataract surgery
  • Eye-related plastic and reconstructive surgery
