Harvey Carter, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and one of the most well known physicians in the Dallas and East Texas areas. More About Harvey L. Carter, III, MD
Dr. Carter received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and his medical degree from Louisiana State University, School of Medicine. His internship was conducted at the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, and he served his residency in ophthalmology at the Medical College of Georgia.
He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Carter is a member of several professional organizations.
