Dr. Boyd completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Ottawa in 1984 with accreditation in Canada (FRCSC) and USA (ABO). He did post graduate training both in Saudi Arabia and England. He has been in medicine for 20 years and doing laser vision correction for more than 10 years.
